Welcome to the Iron Ridge Public Library.

We are proud to be your local community library, offering programs and services for all ages. Our size allows us to give you personalized service and a friendly face, plus we have access to resources from libraries throughout the area and around the state.  Whether you’re looking for hints for your latest craft project, local history information, or something to read for fun, we can help you find it.

Special Notice: On Friday August 2 the library may need to close for an hour or two. Before coming in, please call ahead to see if there is staff in the library. My apologies for any inconvenience.       — Elizabeth

Also, the LEGO Day originally scheduled for Saturday, August 3, is postponed until Saturday, August 10 at 10:30 am.

At 2:30 pm Tuesday, July 30,  we welcomed the Dodge County Dairy Ambassador, Brenda Conley, to celebrate National Ice Cream Month!
The weather on Tuesday afternoon was gorgeous and we  met outside. Brenda brought milk, ice, sugar, flavorings and an excellent recipe for making “Ice Cream In A Bag.” The next time you visit the library, please pick up a copy of the recipe to take home.

Due to unexpected circumstances the library was closed on Saturday, July 27. Don’t worry if you were unable to renew things or return stuff on time that day. I will remove any fines you may have incurred. Please excuse any inconvenience the closure caused, and let me know if you have any particular concerns.
